Menina-Series
Something of the meninaverse – she is like cute.
The basic idea was to combine all the meninas with each other – either through the things she is holding or the content itself. This peice is meant to be a poster out of different parts, which you can collect.
That might be a dream becoming true of one of my best friends. His wish was a ‘Menina’ just for himself. A rocker one. And because both of us are miss lewis-fans, it was pretty clear to me, that it ought to have some relations to juliette…. The illustration is still in progress. You can see the color adjustments i made. Having relations to a real rockin’ human being let me exchange the feather. I think, it fits well in front of the recycling toiletpaper i used for the background.
There is still a cord missing. And yes, it is on purpose, playing the guitar up-side-down . ‘Menina’ is just too cool to do it the standard way. The guitar is a left-handed one, Jimmy Hendrix used to play.
